On Wednesday October 4, the Plenary Room of the City Council of Granada holds the award ceremony of the Photo Contest and Trivial organised in the European Mobility Week.
The Plenary Room holds in the morning of October 4 the award ceremony of mobile phone photo contest and trivial, organised by the City Council and the Consortium of Metropolitan Transport in the area of Granada due to the celebration from 16 to 22 September of the European Mobility Weeek in the city, where, with the slogan Mix and move. Energetic efficiency, with a hugg activity programme focused to promote a more sustainable mobility in the city.
This award has the presence of the councillor of Mobility and Citizen´s Protectio of the City Council of Granada, Ana Isabel Agudo, and the director manager of the Consortium of Metropolitan Transport in Granada, César Díaz, that have delivered the prizes to awarded of both contests that were created to sensitize and aware citizens about the incorporation of new habits in displacements in the city.
So, the municipal responsible has remarked that facing this great challenge of sustainable mobility we are going to bet for a coordinated work and in fully institucional cooperation of all administrations involved, because we are determined to improve quality of life of our neighbours, that travel between Granada and the Metropolitan Area, has underlined.
The councellor has claimed the inclusive and collaborative character of most of the scheduled activities in the European Mobility Week with the participation of institutions, entities and social and neighbour associations in the city, among which she pointed out the gratuity on September 22 22 of public transport service on bus lines 4 and 5 and transfers in urban, interurban and Metropolitan buses and the celebration of "Car Free Day" in Recogidas St.
Also, she has indicated that these activities have been accompanied by a range of initiatives focused on sensitization and citizen awareness, because the great challenge of sustainable mobility requires a change in citizen´s habits, she said, that is the reason of these contests.
So, photo contest, which first prize went to Miguel Ángel Villalón, second prize went to Alejandro Maya, and third prize to Javier Palenzuela, whose pictures are going to be exhibited in several exhibitors around the city. Also, is awarded with a bus card of the CTMAGR charged with several amounts of money, 100 euros for the first prize; 50, for the second, and 25 for the third prize, plus a taxi voucher with a value of 50 euros and a guided bicycle route for two, 25 euros plus a guided tour on foot for two, with the cooperation of Asociación de Guías e Intérpretes del Patrimonio de Granada, and 15 euros on a taxi voucher, respectively.
On the other hand, awarded in trivial contest, organised by the Metropolitan Consortium of Transport in the Area of Granada, is Daniel Fernández Ortega, with 8 successes in 1,46 minutes; Carlos Zalacaín Parrado, with 8 successes in 2 minutes, and Magdalena Serrano, with 8 successes in 2,7 minutes.
Im this contest, prizes are three transport cards of the CTMAGR charged with 50 euros each.
Participants have answered eight questions at website of the Consortium of Metropolitan Transport in the Area of Granada in the programme of the European Mobilty Week.
