The Comprehensive Management Mobility Center of the Mayor of Granada is renewed with a new videowall system in the project for the implementation of the vertical mobility platform and configuration of road network.

The Comprehensive Management Mobility Center of the Mayor of Granada, with the implementation of a new system with the most innovative and powerful macroscreens LED full color of the market, the traffic control center in Granada, becomes due the high quality of images displayed and the surface of new ten squared meters videowall the most modern of Spain.
As the councellor of Mobility, Citizen´s Protection and Economy of the Mayor of Granada, Raquel Ruz, who, on the presentation this morning 7 November 2022 of the new measure, said that this project is embraced in the project boosted by the local government for the implementation of the vertical mobility platform and configuration of road network, that, with a budget of 815.133 euros, in the Comprehensive and Sustainable Urban Development Strategy, EDUSI, from Tradition to Innovation, cofinanced by an 80 per cent by the European Development Regional Fund(EDRF).
Ruz Peis has explained that this new videowall, with more than 10 square meters big, a 30 per cent bigger than before, because its higher and wider , also, has better technology, displaying images with con higher brightness and contrast, improves a wider angle vision and precise color restoration, achieving excellent visual effect.
With a budget of 132.634 euros, the installation of new screens renews last system, as the councellor remarked, a very old visual display, because there were projection macroscreens, with very high energetic levels, with a continous loss of quality in the images, and the great problem to repare them due to the lack of spare parts.
This is an actuation that, no doubt, was priority to guarantee the quality of service giving by this control center to manage and regulate traffic in our city and it means the first step to implementate the low emmission zone in Granada, said Ruz Peis.
