Road Bike Education continues as part of Active and Sustainable Mobility, safer and more common every day in Granada.
The Ave María Casa Madre has attended the Cycling Days held on March 3, 2022, with the 3rd ESO students.
In this group, there are students of different learning levels but in all cases, they manage to increase both their knowledge and abilities and skills as well as attitudes, in a Conference in which accompanied by their teachers and with practical theoretical methodology, They learn by alternating in two Phases:
All this initially in a closed practice circuit to then proceed to a totally urban circuit whose itinerary runs from Huerta del Rasillo - Professor Luis Molina, crossing Arabial to Cno. Ronda - Sócrates - Plaza de la Trinidad - Calle de la Cárcel - Mercado S. Agustín - Santa Paula - Santa Bárbara - Rector López Argüeta - San Juan de Dios - Empress Eugenia - Camino de Ronda - Parque García Lorca and return by parallel bike lane to the highway to the Road Education Center in Huerta del Rasillo.
These Conferences are scheduled until the end of the course, organized by the Mobility Road Safety Education Center, with the participation of the Granada al Pedal Cycling Association and the collaboration on the urban route of the Local Police Cycling Unit ( and always with the teaching staff of the requesting center).
Upon arrival, a discussion takes place with an analysis of the pros and cons of what has been learned and the difficulties encountered.
After passing the Evaluative Questionnaire where the opinion and proposals of the attendees about the Conference are revealed, Reflective Bracelets are given away.
Today the Delegate for Mobility, Raquel Ruz, participated in the Cycling Sessions given at the Juan XXIII Zaidín Center, welcoming and thanking her for her contribution to achieving a city whose journeys are more sustainable, active and healthy every day. p>
They were in the García Lorca Park on their urban route, sharing with professionals from the Traffic Education Center, Granada al Pedal and the Local Police Cycling Unit.
