Theatre performance Awareness and Road Safety
Last 9 January at 11:30 hours was the performance of the play in the Municipal Theatre Isabel la Católica, created, directed and performed by the student body and teacher staff of the Special Education School Purísima Concepción.
The Educational Center for Road Safety of the Mobility area organises a musical performance at Theatre Isabel la Católica created, directed and performed by the student body and teacher staff of the Special Education School Purísima Concepción Hermanas Hospitalarias of Granada.
The play, Awareness and Road Safety tells a story about the effects of alcohol and drugs when driving, simulating an open air street drinking of young people and as a consequence of its effects occurs an accident.
This performande is the result of 2 years of work and a creative process where 22 young people with functional diversity of the School, have developed an artistic creation process that has helped to develop global aspects of their personalities and psychomotor development.
Theatre company Talento Desatado, accompanied by the Música desde Dentro music band, want to say to schoolchilds that: It is necessary to arise conciousness and remember our responsibility both we are pedestrians or drivers.
After the accident, they give a musical touch to the PREVENTION messages through songs of Miguel Ríos performed by a singer.
They had the cooperation of Local Police of Granada that interacted with students and also showed a video about respect for the standards and signs of Police Officers.
At the end of the play, the Educational Center for Road Safety of Mobility, showed a short summary of educational messages for pedestrians, cyclists and travellers about Enemies and Allieds of ROAD SAFETY.
Attended the main grenadine authorities related with this area: Delegate of Mobility and Citizen´s Protection, Territorial Delegate of Education, Public Prosecutor in Road Safety, Provincial Traffic Chief, President of STOP Accidentes and Manager and Director of Fundación Purísima Concepción as well, General Coordinator of Mobility, Chief of Local Police, Police Major and Director of the Educational Center in Road Safety and its teacher staff as well.
It was attended by a sum of 591 people from 12 educative centers: Sierra Elvira, Jesuitinas, San Isidoro, Regina Mundi, Virgen de Gracia, la Asunción, San José Tablas, Ntra. Sra. de las Mercedes, José Hurtado, Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario, Genil y Virgen de las Angustias.
