To school on foot: Walking bus of school Padre Manjón
Another educational center in Project STARS, promote active displacements to school.
School Padre Manjón in Pulianas Avenue put into practice, with the technicians of the Educational Center in Road Safety of the City Council of Granada, families and teachers, going to school with their classmates on foot.
There have been settled two meeting points and designed routes for kids to know that they can always find their friends following that route. The technicians of the City Council, assisted by the teaching staff, studying origin and destination of the student body, have made and delivered previously this route, walking along the students in an educational way: road crossings, traffic lights, how to cross the boulevard of Joaquina Eguaras...
Make displacements SAFER, with their friends, autonomously, enjoying their district, encouraging healthy habits as well, that is what this initiative pretends.
