The parade takes place on May 11 2024 between 08:00 and 17:00 hours, as it follows:
ITINERARY
The Simpecado is located in the church of San Pedro.
Carrera del Darro - Plaza Santa Ana - Plaza Nueva - Plaza Isabel la Católica - Reyes Católicos
- Puerta Real - Acera del Darro (left lane reverse sense of traffic until Puente de Castañeda - Carrera de la Virgen - Church Virgen de las Angustias.
AT THE END OF THE EVENT IN THE CHURCH:
The Simpecado will go to the closed area to traffic in Paseo del Salón where will be released from the bullock cart and will be placed on a escorted vehicle by the cavalry of brotherhood through: Paseo del Violón - roundabout Aviación
Española - roundabout Universiada - C/ Jardín de la Reina - C/ Arabial - Cañaveral - Avda. Padre
Marcelino - open zone in front of IES Severo Ochoa.
The carriagess: From the first hours in the morning will be located in Gran Vía in reverse sense of traffic from the Ice cream shop Los Italianos to Triunfo (if there is insufficient space, will be located in Avda. Hospicio or in Constitución.
-Once the Simpecado leaves church of San Pedro and gets to Plaza Isabel la Católica, carriages start their route through C/ Reyes Católicos - Puerta Real - Acera del Casino (reverse sense to traffic) - Acera del Darro arriving to Humilladero. (When Simpecado finish the event in the church of las Angustias), carriages start their way without the Simpecado (it will make a different itinerary) and gets to Puente Blanco - Paseo del Violón - Roundabout Aviación Española - Rotonda Universiada - C/ Jardín de la Reina - C/ Arabial - Cañaveral Avda. Padre Marcelino - open zone in front of IES Severo Ochoa.
The Cavalry: Jockeys of the Brotherhood and the rest of attendants on horsebacks, to join the parade must be properly dressed, the organization has published the dress code and the Local Police will cooperate in this parade as possible.
Itinerary: From Plaza Nueva, together with the Simpecado through Reyes Católicos arriving to Puerta Real turns lefts and follows through Angel Ganivet - Plaza del Campillo to Carrera de la Virgen (side of Ice cream shop La Rosa), where will stay during the celebration of the event in the church of Las Angustias. At the end of the event and after the release from the bullock cart and the placement on a scorted vehicle of Simpecado, will go together through the same itinerary, this is, - Acera del Darro - Acera del Casino - Puerta Real - Recogidas - Neptuno. (when arriving to Neptuno, carriages that have previously started their journey will be in Arabial), the Simpecado will join the parade after the last of them, and, in case all carriages are already in the open area, the Simpecado will get to that point.
Exit to Málaga - Sevilla
At 17:00 hours, aproximately, will restart the carriage parade, through: Parking space in Padre Marcelino, roundabout Avenida de las Alpujarras, access to GR-30
Chana, towards Jaén.
