Record of Solidarity on the Magic Bus
This solidarity initiative of Magic Bus beats a record collecting 1.500 toys that will be delivered between families in need.
The councillor of Mobility, César Díaz, has pointed out the great success of this initiative that this year has multiplied solidarity of grenadines.
The City Council of Granada and Transportes Rober ends with great success the second edition of the campaign Magic Bus, a solidarity initiative that has overcomed collecting toys in more than the doubles than last year, meeting more than 1.500 toys to be delivered between families in need, so no child in Granada is left without a toy this Christmas.
The councillor of Mobility, César Díaz, has remarked the totally sucess of this initiative that this year has multiplied solidarity of grenadians that have give new toys for disadvantaged children. We are very proud of Granada and its citizens due to the results obtained in this wonderful city that have joined the initiative so Christmas can reach every home, has said the councellor that has recognized the work of Transportes Rober that the last 13 of December has installed this magic bus in Paseo del Salón. A stop of illusion to make the smaller ones happier.
Also, Díaz has thanked the NGOs cooperating in this initiative their dedication to help families in need in a fantastic work made in Christmas and also the rest of the days of the year.
The manager of Transportes Rober, Francisco Gámez, has declared that the aim was to fulfill the bus with brand new toys and practically we have achieve it. Next year we will try to fulfill two buses with presents. Gámez has remarked the success of the campaign and thanked grenadines, that came to our Parada de la Ilusión this Christmas. There are many families that apart from giving their present have enjoyed a wide agenda of activities organised in the stand that have been a great success.
This action has been developed with the help of volunteers and personal of the transport company, and the cooperation of some NGOs of the city, that delivered the toys to the disfavored families in Granada, and help Wise Men deliver all the toys to the children of the city. This non-profit associations are Integración para la Vida (INPAVI), Ciudad de los Niños, Edicoma, Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad and Granabip.
The bus stayed at the Parada de la Ilusión, located at Paseo del Salón, from Friday 13 December until today 3 January, uninterrupted from 11:00 to 21:00 hours. In these 22 days more than 3.000 people have joined magic bus, and left a present or join the activities made in the stand of Rober, as a nowelty this year. These activities of the Magic bus have been organised thanks to the cooperation of some NGOs beneficiary of the toys, and included a stilts workshop by Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad, a magic workshop by Edicoma, face painting and ballon twisting by Inpavi and face painting by Granabip.
The last week the Magic Bus has a Royal Postman, a badge workshop and a photocall. Also some entities of the grenadian society, specially sports ones, wanted to take part of Magic Bus this year. Among them we can find Fundación CB Granada that visited the bus with some of the players of Coviran team, Carlos Corts, Manu Rodríguez and Diego Kapelan were there and left some toys and backpacks ending their year in a solidarity way, delivering illusion between the smaller ones. And this way have begun the year the full team ofHafesa RACA, whose players have been to the Magic Bus full of presents to help Wise Men this Christmas.
So this way ends a new edition of Magic Bus, an initiative that is consolidated in its second year as one of the main solidarity activities of Christmas in the city, unavoidable date on next December 2020 that will come with more novelties to overcome each year the number of toys collected.
