Walking bus of students of school Andrés Segovia in Zaidín district
School Andrés Segovia, integrated for second consecutive year in european project STARS, organises walking bus to school.
Fathers and mothers, teachers and students of a school in Zaidin district, integrated for second year in the European Project STARS, with technicians of the Educational Center in Road Safety, design safe routes to ease active displacements to school of children: on foot or bicycle.
In the current school year there are 6 schools that have joined this Project developed in the Municipal Center in Road Safety (Mobility), whose technicians design safe routes, initially in a didactic way, until students are educated to do it, under the supervision of parents and teachers, to automate those routes and so students can use their way to school to: make exercise, talk with their partners, discover their neighbourhood, potentiate their capacity to solve small doubts and situations... this is, make their way to school both a learning process and a way to enjoy their district in a SAFE and SUBSTAINABLE way.
