XIV Motorbike Conferences and V Coexistence with Bicycles
The Educational Center in Road Safety of the Citizen´s Protection and Mobility Area organise the XIV Motorbike Conferences and V Coexistence with bicycles, presided over María Francés and aimed at young bikers of our city.
The basis of this project lies in the high number of two - wheeled vehicles in the city of Granada and their high involvement in urban accidents.
The City Council of Granada has assummed a big commitment with this collective so vulnerable.There are varied actuations and projects intended to promote their training and the restoration of the city to promote this mean of transport and make it safer every day.
Granada is a city with an amount of vehicles of 144.965 (2015) in relation to the 146.770 of 2014.This means a progressive decreasing of the number of vehicles from 2012.
Two - wheeled vehicles, the objective of these conferences, represent a sum of 39.022, (26.91% of the total) whereof:
- 16.574 are mopeds
- 22448 are motorbikes
The conferences, theoretical - practical, will be organised on 20, 21 and 22 October 2015 in the installations of the Local Center in Road Safety and will be teached by two prestigious motorbike associations of our city: Asociación Mutua Motera and Vespacito.

- Ave Mª Casa Madre
- IES Hermenegildo Lanz
The number of groups to teach these three days will be 13, with a total of 325 young people.
