On 3rd November begins another activity arranged by the Local Road Safety Center focused on young people: Table discussions in High Schools of Granada.
This is an interdisciplinar activity that offers info about Road Safety and prevention of accidents rate from different views:
- Psychologist of the Local Road Safety Center explains the importance of human factor and the training and psychophysical status of the driver to reduce risk on accidents.
- The expert of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters report about any legal changes introduced or requirements to get a Moped Driving License.
- Local Police report about risks of botellon (street drinking) when driving, reporting about alcohol and drugs control systems and noise tests as well.
- 112 informs about the Protect, Alert, Assist procedure (P.A.S.) in case of traffic accident, asking for solidarity on the roads to reduce human casualties due to non-assistance to a person in danger.
- 061, in a practical way, offers information about first aid in a traffic accident using a dummie to practice CPR or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Victims of traffic crash from ASPAYM association tell about their accidents, analysing causes and consequences of them in their lifes.
These table discurrions have been started at IES Albayzin High School, and was focused to High School schoolchilds between 16 and 18 years old.
They are taking place every monday of the school year from 12 to 14 hours.
