An special urban bus service to the Basket World Cup
The visitors to the Basket World Cup in Granada will have an special bus service, that will pick them up at the end of the competition each day.
In expectation os the massive attendance to the competitions celebrating at 22:00 hours in Palacio de Deportes, and whereas the bus transport schedule will be finished (around midnight), there will be stablished an special bus service to pick visitors up.
Two bus lines will wait at the end of each basket match in Emperador Carlos V Ave. roundabout, opposite Palacio de Deportes, to take passengers through two main axis of the city:
- Line Mundobasquet across the Center.-
Starting from Emperador Carlos V Ave., follows this avenue, Andrés Segovia, Poeta Manuel de Góngora, Acera del Darro, Reyes Católicos, Gran Vía and Madrid Ave., turning at Ribera del Beiro roundabout to get through Doctor Olóriz and Constitución Ave. to its origin.
- Line Mundobasquet through Camino de Ronda.-
Starting from Emperador Carlos V Ave., follows this avenue, Andrés Segovia, Palencia, América Ave. nd Camino de Ronda to Villarejo, where will turn and get back to its origin.
Each bus line will have several articulated vehicles, whose departure will be inmediately after passengers get on the bus.There will be as many journeys as necessary, to provide an efficient service.
This special service will be run during the Basket Worl Cup in Granada, from saturday 30 august to thursday 4 september.
